Espelho

Espelhos

Mirrors*

With the luggage in hand, he closed the door and went toward the car determined to not look back. He did not want to give up on leaving and never returning.

As he opened the trunk, he found himself looking at the suitcase he inherited from his mother - the luggage prepared the previous week, when he would leave without looking back so that he would not have to see himself abandoning the empty house; however, he looked through the rear view mirror and captured his memories. He could not resist.

The following week, he gave up the luggage. On the road, he cried the lost colors’ garden forever.
